Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A naturally occurring sugar which plays an extremely important role in the health, appearance, and function of your skin. The connective tissue matrix within the dermis is made up of collagen and elastin. Hyaluronic acid increases absorption and retains water within the extracellular matrix, promoting hydration, increased volume and density. Hyaluronic holds more than 1000 mL of water per gram of HA, a key factor in its ability to hold water, provide hydration, and a healthy transport of essential nutrients to viable cells. As hyaluronic penetrates into the dermis, it helps boost elasticity while creating a protective breathable layer on the skin which locks in moisture, promoting a more youthful appearance of the skin. As we age and the skin is exposed to regular environmental pollutants and ultraviolet rays, the cells lose its ability to produce HA, dropping below the normal %10-%20 range. With consistent use, HA will help replace that lost HA and restore your skin’s naturally smooth appearance.

Matrixyl® 3000 (Palmitoyl Oligopeptide & Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide): contains matrikines® which are messengers of cutaneuous restructuration and repair. They activate neosynthesis of extracellular matrix macromolecules providing a visible anti-wrinkle efficacy. Matrikines are capable of regulating cell activity, interacting with specific receptors to activate genes involved in the extracellular matrix renewal and cell proliferation. The combination of these peptides act in synergy to restore and maintain the skin’s youthful appearance.
- Clinical study in which 2 panels of 23 volunteers aged 39 to 74 applied a cream containing 3% Matrixyl®3000 to one-half of their face against a placebo or 3% Matrixyl® on the other half, twice a day for 56 days. Anti-wrinkling and lifting efficacy was assessed by profilometry and photography, as compared to T0. Matrixyl®3000 showed a 45% reduction in wrinkles within a 56 day period. Matrixyl alone showed a 27% reduction in surface wrinkles within a 56 day period. Clinical studies report a 117% increase in collagen I syntheisis and 357% increase in collagen IV synthesis.

- Following the treatment of a skin peel, distribute a small amount of Hydrating Repair Cream to your fingertips. Evenly apply directly to treatment area of skin, using upward circular motions. Continue gently massaging the skin for 15-20 seconds.
